04:40:36 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Ironic:

See anything wrong with the keyboard?

04:51:10 Jun 6th 08 - Prince Bertilius Septim II:

Well, it's different from mine in that the keys are placed differently (the C is under the G instead of under the D like on my keyboard), the backslash is on the wrong side.

04:57:16 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Ironic:

An entire row of letters is wrong. Thats not just one model though its in thousands. How do you get that wrong???

06:09:35 Jun 6th 08 - Duke Krasksagon:

You know it improvements between countries, right?

11:13:16 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Plutonium:

13:08:29 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Ironic:

It was only sent to the US and UK and that keyboard is not Swedish either. I checked.

15:26:20 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Blood Spill:

17:02:38 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Dreadlord:

19:38:41 Jun 6th 08 - Dark Lord Sun Yun Huu:

same key layout as mine too. different doesnt = wrong ;)

19:46:09 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Bruiant:

absoloutley nothing wrong with it. im from the UK, and as sad as it may seem, i know where every key roughly belongs on a standard keyboard. the ONLY thing i see that could even be "considered" wrong is that the shift key is a little big for a laptop, making the keys go inward like

22:21:53 Jun 6th 08 - Mr. Ironic:

This keyboard was sent to the UK and the US as in the United States. This is an  actual computer keyboard that was being sold with the Vostro 1310 a few thousand were sold before they realised the problem.

Dell Taco = Epic Fall...

01:30:18 Jun 8th 08 - Mr. Bruiant:

My keys on my laptop is Qwerty, and same as every computer iv ever seen infact :)

21:54:06 Jun 8th 08 - Lord Erunion Telcontar:

There's nothing wrong with that keyboad. Just because it's different than some doesn't mean it's wrong...
As it stands, it's almost identical to every other keyboard I've ever seen and as there are 4 that I use regularly, and about a dozen others that I've used at other times that's a pretty darn good sampling.

23:46:19 Jun 8th 08 - Duke Argyle:

lookie swedish keyboard:

02:22:45 Jun 9th 08 - Mr. Ironic:

It is wrong if its shipped to the wrong country. Please consider this. About 3000 people bought this labtop. This labtop was then sent to America, its true that it is the UK version  and the swedish from the looks of it but Americans have never typed using those types of Keyboards so they all had to be recaled.

05:24:05 Jun 9th 08 - Lord Erunion Telcontar:

Err... Where does this deviate from the norm, anyhow? I live in Canada, and have American friends who use the computers I use without any issues...
So unless there is a major difference I can't see, there is nothing wrong with that.

06:18:04 Jun 9th 08 - The Dark Knight:

Labtop?  Laptop my friend... Laptop.....

22:36:28 Jun 17th 08 - Mr. Twamao:

Ironic = Major Failure

00:44:46 Jun 29th 08 - Mr. Newcastle United:

Major Failure...? No... It just doesn't work.

Blood Spill and any others having the problems of £ coming out as $ and @ as ' etc

This is because your keyboard was most likely shipped, at some point, from America, and the keyboard settings are set to English US.

Windows XP: Start> Settings> Control Panel> Regional and Language Options> Click the drop down menu and simply select your country and designated language. (English (United Kingdom), why can't Americans just use "American" or simply use our English.. instead of trying to be original and stealing ours?)

Windows Vista: I don't know, think of this as a punishment for being stupid enough to buy Vista.

and to the OP, yes, a few keys are swapped around, hardly the end of the world but I can see what you mean about them not realising till they had shipped, that's pretty incompetent.
