why are threads deleted?
14:55:52 Apr 24th 07 - Mr. Roxbury:

When I start to type the title of a new thread, a little shortcut thingy pops up in Firefox with the names of all the previous threads I've made here since I bought this comp. It looks to be well over a 100 threads. Then I look at other forums all over the internet, and the vast majority of forums save old threads into page 1-50 or more. Basically they understand that whats written in the forum is actually content, and not just various degrees of spam.

My question is, why are the era scores saved, but not older threads? And dont give me something like "server space", this is the 21th century and simple text takes no room whatsoever.

This is not really a strategy game, but a social game. Thus, the social aspect should be saved, or the strategy part loses its meaning.

With arma being used as it's been lately, this indeed only is a social game!

Oh snap!!

I've now made it so that the forum got pages, 50 threads on each page.
